Born and raised in Sandusky, Dan came home to practice law in 1979. Over his thirty years of practice, Dan has handled a wide variety of legal matters to the great satisfaction of his clients. Most of Dan’s legal career has been spent in the commercial law area. He has handled a number of multi-million dollar sale/purchase transactions, and has recovered millions of dollars for injured parties in litigation by way of settlement or verdict. Dan has been heavily involved in the commercial banking area, having represented both banks and borrowers. Most recently, Dan has spent a great deal of time studying the rapidly developing area of mortgage fraud, and now represents a number of people who have been victimized by illegal, predatory loans, and has become a nationally-recognized legal authority in securitized loan defense.

Originally from Lima, Ohio, Trey came to Huron after completing his B.S. at Purdue University and his J.D. from Capital University Law School. He has been admitted to the Ohio Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Erie and Lorain County Bar Associations, as well as the Ohio State Bar Association. Trey is also currently serving as the Vice Mayor of Huron. He is a current member and past-president of the Huron Rotary Club, a Trustee at the Huron United Methodist Church and has participated on many local committees within his community. His skills and experience in a variety of disciplines allows him the ability to help others achieve their legal goals.
